Sandy Micheal Williams Charged with Murder After Shooting Husband in Bridgeport, Texas

On the night of February 1, 2026, a domestic argument inside a home on Trinity Circle in Lake Bridgeport, Texas, ended with 46-year-old Michael C. Thomas dead from multiple gunshot wounds. His wife, 45-year-old Sandy Micheal Williams, was arrested and charged with murder.

Arrest and Charges

Thomas’s father called authorities around 10 p.m. Deputies arrived to find Williams standing on the porch of the home. She complied with their orders. Inside, they located Thomas’s body. Williams was taken to the Wise County Sheriff’s Office for questioning and later booked into the Wise County Jail on a murder charge with a $50,000 bond. Texas Rangers assisted local investigators. An autopsy was performed, and she was later indicted on the first-degree felony murder charge.
